Shin and Knee protectors are designed to be worn in conjunction with DMS Protective Equipment Ltd Scorpion Thigh Guards and Foot Protectors.

Together they should ideally provide coverage for all of the front of the officers leg, excluding a section around the knee to allow for natural motion.

Level 2 Limb Protectors can be expected to provide adequate protection against missiles thrown from a distance that are not Intercepted by a personal defence shield, and from blows from hand held weapons partly attenuated by a shield the hard plastic outer shell will generally protect against hypodermic needles and slashing knife cuts.

Used to DMS Protective Equipment instructions, and with the exception of damage or misuse, Scorpion limb protectors have an anticipated service life of five (5) years from date of manufacture.
